PE PREMIUM

The government has provided additional funding to improve the provision of physical education (PE) and sport in primary schools in England. This funding is provided jointly by the Departments for Education, Health and Culture, Media and Sport and an amount is allocated directly to each school.

Every primary school receives a block amount plus an additional sum based on the number of pupils in the school. The money has to be spent on improving PE and sport provision, but schools have the freedom to choose how they do this.

We have included our 2023/24 plan here.  This will be developed on an ongoing basis to meet the needs of our pupils.
